I couldn't be more pleased with this blanket
This blanket is thin, as the previous person noted, but oh so soft and lovely. It really adds something to my bed when I put it on. It is perfect for this cooler Washington spring we are having, and would probably be a bit too warm for summer. For being thin, it packs a punch, warmth-wise. It is very pretty and well made. I haven't washed it yet, but I am right now buying another in another color. It is my new favorite blanket, and I have had some nice down blankets in my life.

Cozy without being heavy. Pretty enough to use as a coverlet.
I was surprised and for the most part pleased with this blanket. The Sherpa lining is warm without being weighty. The best part is the lovely fabric and design on the flip side. It's so soft to the touch and the roses and leaves are a bit shiny to offset the design from the background just enough. The photo does not do it justice. When I have to send my comforter to the drycleaner, I've used the blanket as a coverlet.
I withheld one star because of the construction. The Sherpa is attached to the plush fabric all around the perimeter - but ONLY around the perimeter. So when you're moving it from washer to dryer, or laying it out on the bed, the 2 pieces of material don't necessarily move in tandem. They could have hidden some stitching around the rosette designs or even from the four corners into the center to hold the two pieces together. It would have been much less cumbersome to fold and handle, particularly if you have a king size bed! The "throw" I have from...
thin but warm
A little thinner than I expected, but plenty warm for our cool winters here in So Cal. Bought the king to fit on a queen so there was no covers stealin' from my husband late at night. WOULD RECOMMEND. Can't give a 5 yet until I see how it holds up long term. Item was shipped promptly to us by seller. Washes/dry easily would recommend drying only low or delicate to keep fluffy.
