Just Beautiful
I have had my Croscill Plateau comforter set for a week now and I love it. The jewel toned colors are beautiful, and pretty close to the picture on Amazon. The King size fit my eastern king perfectly as it is not skimpy on size at all. It has good weight to it....not too heavy or too light. I love the chenille fabric as it doesn't slide off the bed like the satin type fabrics. At the time I ordered this comforter, it was listed on Amazon for $105.00 less than Bed Bath & Beyond. I believe the price has gone up since I ordered it. It was a great deal and a gorgeous addition to the bedroom. You can't go wrong.

Thrilled with this comforter!
The rich colors of this comforter set coordinate beautifully with the color scheme that we have throughout our house. It is thick and plush, and because it is a nappy chenille, our kitty kat will not destroy it with his kneading. The set comes with a faux distressed leather bed skirt, and the shams are trimmed in the same faux leather piping, giving it a somewhat "rustic" look, but, as they say in the fashion world, you can either dress it up or dress it down. In our bedroom we didn't want nor need the bed skirt, and the comforter set looks very lovely dressed up with a couple of satiny burgundy pillows embroidered with gold. BTW, this set is very well made. The shams have zippered closures, and the comforter is a very generous size. We couldn't be happier with this purchase!
Beautiful comforter set
I saw this comforter set up high on a wall at a local store, found the package, scanned the bar code and learned that Amazon was selling the set at a much lower price than the store. I didn't hesitate to order and, initially, I was asked to wait 3-4 months for my set. That was agreeable as I was not in a big rush; however, the comforter was shipped much earlier and I received it so much sooner than anticipated. I couldn't wait to open the package and get it on the bed. The colors are gorgeous and rich and I just love the way it warms up my bedroom. I can't use the bed skirt as I have a platform bed, but the comforter is cut very generously (cal-king) and drapes over the bed beautifully. I couldn't be more pleased with it. Thank you Amazon for making it an attainable purchase and for providing your customers with quality merchandise at excellent prices.
